I discovered that the Heavy Press did indeed find a new home. When it left Madison, Illinois, it went to Canton,Georgia. It has been completely rebuilt and is running better than ever at
Universal Alloy Corporation.
I also found 2 old photos of the press. They are from around 1982, when the Madison plant was operated by Consolitated Aluminum. See them on the right.
